Who publishes this site
These pages are published by Solara Vista Casino Resort, a coastal hotel with a land-based casino floor on its ground level. The site is a description of the property: the keys, the two kitchens, the week's events, the salt baths and the Salón Mirador. What this website cannot do
There is no booking engine here, no guest account and no payment page. The site asks for no card number, no identity document and no date of birth beyond the yes-or-no age question at the entrance. It also offers no gambling: no games, no wagers, no deposits. A room, a table or a place at an event is arranged by email, away from this website.
What we actually collect
- Nothing at all, if you only read. Moving between these pages hands us no personal data.
- Two choices, kept on your device. Your age confirmation and your answer to the cookie box are written to your browser's local storage. They never travel to our servers.
- Hosting records. Our hosting provider logs the IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser string of each request, as every web server does. Those logs keep the site up and let us see an attack when one happens.
- Whatever you write to us. If you email reception, we keep the message and your contact details for as long as it takes to answer and to hold a record of the arrangement.
Analytics and advertising
Given your consent, we load Google Analytics 4 and Google advertising tags. They count visits, show us which pages people actually read and tell us whether an advertisement brought somebody who then wrote to reception. Before you answer the cookie box, every consent category is set to denied in the page head, so the tags store nothing and set no cookies. Choosing Essential only leaves them denied for good.
We do not upload names, email addresses or anything from a document to an advertising platform, and we run no advertising aimed at anyone under 18.
Why we are allowed to hold any of it
- Consent — analytics and advertising storage, which you may refuse now and withdraw later.
- Legitimate interest — hosting logs, security, and keeping the pages available.
- Contract, or steps towards one — answering an enquiry about a room, a table or an event.
- Legal obligation — where accounting, licensing or safety rules require a record.
How long it stays
Hosting logs are held for twelve months, then rotated out. Email about a stay is kept for three years from the last message in the thread. The two values in your browser remain until you clear your site data; clearing them resets the age question and the cookie box.
Who else sees it
Our hosting company, our email provider, and Google if you have consented to analytics and advertising. Nothing is sold, and nothing is handed to another company for its own marketing. Some providers operate outside the country where the resort stands; those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses published by the European Commission.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Have something inaccurate corrected.
- Have it deleted, where no legal duty makes us keep it.
- Object to a particular use, or ask us to restrict it.
- Withdraw cookie consent at any moment through , which sits in the footer of every page.
- Take the matter to the supervisory authority for the country you live in, whether or not you have raised it with us first.
Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month, and sooner if the request is simple.
Children
This site is written for adults, because the casino floor it describes starts at 18. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you think a child has sent us personal data, tell us and it will be deleted the same week.
Changes
When this policy changes, the review date at the top changes with it. Anything substantial will be flagged on the entry page for a month so that returning visitors notice.
